Read and Write iButtons with a Bluetooth Enabled Handheld
The Wireless iConnection provides a Bluetooth data link between an iButton and handheld computer, expanding the range of handhelds capable of reading and writing iButtons. With a Wireless iConnection, handheld computers can establish a Bluetooth link to read and write iButton data:
Read temperature data from Thermochron iButtons; Identification from serial number iButtons; time keeping and count data; text data and more.
Product Description
The Wireless iConnection integrates a Bluetooth radio and an intelligent iButton reader in a small, re-chargable battery powered enclosure.
The Bluetooth Radio enables wireless communications between the iButton and a suitably equipped handheld computer.
The Wireless iConnection is powered by a re-chargeable lithium ion battery that provides about two hours of "talk time" between handheld and iButton. Battery monitoring and management is also wireless: status monitoring, inactivity time-out and shutdown is available on the handheld.
