Current Consumption - Arc/Spark Detection Amplifier

by Bob Bushnell on 05/04/12

Can you tell me what the power consumption is on your 110B-R 24VDC Photoelectric Amplifier?

This question came in this week.  Our line of Photoelectric Amplifiers and Photodarlington Sensors are used in a variety of applications from Industrial Microwave Arc Detection to Spark Detection in other industrial applications.  These controls respond to light intensity, energizing its output when intensity at the photosensor is above (or below) set-point.  These amplifiers are available for 115 VAC and 24 VDC applications.  The 24 VDC Photoelectric Amplifiers consume approx 50 milliamps, and the 115 VAC versions consume approx 30 milliamps of current.
