Programming and Input/Output Information

Preset values are key-entered from the instrument's front panel (or RS232 line) and are stored in non-volatile memory. They are loaded automatically on power up.	Digital Inputs respond to a current sink to ground. They are schmit trigger gate inputs pulled up to the instrument's internal 5 volt supply through a 10 kohm resistor. Inputs are protected from overvoltage by a small signal diode.	Digital Outputs are small signal NPN transistor collectors, conducting to signal ground when energized. They are capable of switching small DC loads, less than 50 milliamps or 30 volts. They must not be connected directly to AC loads.	Digital inputs and outputs respond to sub-millisecond signals. No input or output filtering is provided.

Constructing a Part Number

1. Select package type, 726 = 1/8 DIN, 736 = 1/2 DIN.
2. Select input power, A = 110 VAC, D = 24VDC.
3. Insert a dash
4. Select function and logic, EG1 through EG9.
5. Combine in order for part number. For example: 726A-EG1 is 1/8 DIN instrument with 110 VAC input power and EG1 function/logic.
