Glass Light Guides Construction Scanning Devices Fiberoptic Light Guides operate over a wide temperature range up to 525 degrees. The are constructed from drawn silica, assembled in flexible stainless steel metal hose, terminated in polished ferrules with a variety of mounting options illustrated below. Configurations Bifurcated fibers separate randomized glass bundles into separate source and sensor terminations for reflective sensing.Straight light guides are used in pairs for through-beam (beam break) sensing. Length Standard stocked light guides are three feet long. Other lengths are manufactured to order. If you don't see what you need, email Scanning Devices mail@scanningdevices.com for availability.
