Thermochron iButton Applications do not display (year) date correctly for dates after 12/31/09. When iButtons are read by a Windows Mobile Device or by a PC using a USB adapter, the year is displayed as 01 rather than 10. when iButtons are read on a Palm Handheld, dates are displayed correctly but when transferred to PC via Hot-Sync, the year is displayed incorrectly.

A software update is available to fix the problem.

PTL5-Update to Correct Date Error

It contains three executables, one for the windows Mobile Handheld and two for the PC.
Unzip the file.
Save Thermochron22.exe on your PC in the \Program Files\Scanning Devices\ folder, replacing the file of the same name.
Save WMThermochronViewer22.exe on your PC in the \Program Files\Scanning Devices\ folder, replacing the file of the same name.
Save Thermochron22WM.exe in your Windows Active Sync folder so that it will be installed on your Windows Mobile handheld the next time it is connected to your PC.

If you are using a Palm Handheld or no handheld, the file depends on the iButton model and program that you are using.
