Scanning Devices LoadBuilder System Provides RFID Application Framework

Chicago, November 7. Scanning Devices Inc. (Burlington, MA) introduces LoadBuilder Systems, an application framework designed to aid organizations with new RFID supply chain systems.  LoadBuilder achieves three early RFID objectives while enabling rapid RFID prototype implementations.

LoadBuilder Systems collect and integrate RFID and EPC information with existing barcode-based systems, allowing organizations to build new capability within existing identification infrastructure.

LoadBuilder System data is available for shipment documentation, labeling and advanced notifications, allowing organizations to participate in early RFID activities and to comply with supply chain requirements.

LoadBuilder Systems provide extensive performance analysis, error detection and recording.  These features allow organizations to learn quickly and gain experience in applying new RFID techniques to their products.

Scanning Devices Inc. provides business and engineering consulting services in support of LoadBuilder System implementations.  Services are designed to uncover RFID value within an organization, identify organizational requirements to support RFID activities, develop and monitor implementation plans and recommend evaluation criteria and feedback methods to insure continual post installation improvement.

LoadBuilder Systems are PC-based, supported with Microsoft® Windows® XP. They generate information compatible with Microsoft Office Products such as Excel®.  They support commercially available barcode scanners, RFID readers, label printers and other components.  Scanning Devices can tailor implementation to specific installation requirements.

LoadBuilder Systems are on display at Pack Expo 2004 in RFID Pavilion E-9626.
